and I don't think we are even in the middle class. My heart goes out to people trying to live a good life on low wages.

Unemployment and underemployment are eroding wages and costs are rising regularly.

Why is it no one (in government) can just adopt the perspective of families of various income levels ($0 to whatever middle class is now) and implement changes to keep everyone covered for food, shelter and healthcare?
