Goodbye to the worst year of my life.

I could not bring my beloved into 2015 with me. I now live in a new life that is strange to me. I will strive to be patient and loving with my boys who have sustained the same loss, and I will pray that they will to the same for me and each other.

First footing into the unknown with hope and trepidation..

I wish all my DU friends a safe and happy journey in the New Year.

I've been there with the worst year of the life thing. It was 2003 and the year was a rollercoaster. Granted I graduated with my MBA and went and saw Bon Jovi in concert. The bad list was really bad: 1) I separated from my first wife (later we got divorced); 2) My father had a stroke and was in the hospital for two weeks before he passed away in the spring; 3) I was dead broke; 4) I couldn't find a job; 5) My mother-in-law passed away in the fall; 6) my car got repo'd; and 7) I had a major depressive episode.

So I decided why the hell not move to South Korea! On Jan 2nd 2004, I arrived here and started working. Sometimes in life you have to take a gamble.
