I wrote "Happy New Year" inside and enclosed a thank you card for a retirement gift that I received a week or ten days ago.

I am so, so glad you posted this because I would have totally forgotten it.

Then I don't send one the following year, but I get one from them, so there goes my OMG card into the mail

but replied to ours anyway to send some family stuff.

My younger cousins -- once removed! -- seem to post Facebook Christmas greetings. Birthday, too. But they may send cards as well -- don't know, as I haven't ever started carding them since they "left home."

Too tired to publish! No letter this time, just a note to folk who write to me. Others can drop off. Tis time. If I am not keeping up with their lives -- or they with mine -- why do the card thing.
