Free erections? Tesco’s embarrassing cash machine translation mishap at new Aberystwyth store

Welsh speakers in Aberystwyth have been promised "free erections" at a new Tesco Express store.

A cash machine at the newly opened store in Aberystwyth town centre promises users a "codiad am ddim" which translates colloquially as "free erection".

A more appropriate wording would be "arian am ddim".

Aberystwyth councillor Ceredig Davies spotted the sign and uploaded it to his Facebook page.

“10/10 to Tesco for considering the Welsh language but perhaps they should have had it checked by an actual Welsh speaker before putting the signs on the machines,” Mr Davies told WalesOnline.

1. Even if free, they need to redesign the slot opening so it's more penis friendly.

And having a stool to stand on would be very helpful too.
