Has anyone EVER gotten through a lifetime movie without just asking WTH???

These are absolutely the worst movies ever made. Watching The Russell Girl.... Amber Tamblyn is the star...and it is so BAD...but am in it now, kept thinking it would get better, NOT.

There is something about those shows that turns my brain to pablum. The dialogue is unstimulating and the acting feels like they're still in rehearsal. If I stay on the channel for longer than fifteen minutes I can feel the neurons in my brain liquify.

I've found some damn good shows on those channels. But Lifetime movies are produced by people who see the world in blah pastels.

They're all such wimps..... I just laugh at them, and who said the dialogue was bad.....agree 100 percent. I think I'm going to just delete the channel and forget about it.

Average SyFy movie plot...

Group of people hanging around.
Couple of them get killed rather bloody by monster. (Said monster being bad CGI)

Guy in some authority (maybe a sheriff,) tries to close down upcoming festival of some sort.
Festival that pulls in the suckers...I mean tourists.

Is over-ruled by bad guy who has dollar signs in his eyes.

You got it, bad guy and many others get killed at festival by bad CGI monster.

Hero sheriff who was over-ruled gets a few people together, they kill monster.

Or did they?

when I must see a movie and the pickings are slim, but I’m usually sorry I did.

That Russell Girl was truly awful, and I was taken aback to see that the character Lorraine Morrissey in the movie was played by Jennifer Ehle, who’d played Elizabeth Bennett in Pride and Prejudice alongside Colin Firth.
