One of my cats always comes when he's called, but he's not too crazy about walking on a leash.

when we whistled. People often thought we had a dog, which, being a single mom, was the point. My son, grown now, does that too with his cat even though he has no need to.

Before the fire I would refer to him as "my dog Cupid". Rest in peace little man.

Shimmer came when called until she went deaf. 16 years FIV.

And Bonobo was more human than cat. I will miss you most of all.

Jazmin comes as fast as her 15 year old legs will carry her.

Leela knows her name but is too high strung to come consistently.
Ozzy is the same.
The triplets, well, they are 50/50. Black cats are the best.

I have a little of cats.

I have lost a few too.

when there is food, and then promptly falls over in a coma after using the litter box. The only time she wants a "walk" is when there is a lizard and she can do disgusting disembowelment things to the poor creature and leave the unsavory organs to sit in the sun. I've experienced this many more times than once, so yes, it is a pattern.

ETA: And she's still gorgeous and I still love her.

I'd rather my elderly 90 year old neighbor walking her cat regularly (which she did) instead of finding the same 90 year old neighbor strolling around nude without kitty on a leash.

You think I'm kidding, but I doubt anyone could forget that. I had to bundle her up inside her condo and call her son.

Outcome: She and her elderly cat continued to walk together, but her son finally realized he needed to take care of his mother and did. I think she and that cat are probably walking naked together somewhere on a beach, or at least that is what I hope for both of them!

because I saw candy in the grocery aisle like it was Halloween.

I farted in the last pumpkin and my tail got burned. Organic idiots.

I await my punishment.

I hope it isn't worse than not cleaning out the litter box.

I fear for my neighbors after my not so reportedly demise.

The first time I saw that I did a double take. For a few moments my brain simply couldn't process what kind of miniature dog it was.

I live in California where it's illegal to keep ferrets as pets for fears they could become an invasive species damaging to native wildlife.
