1. Find a good series to latch onto

Do you get Xfinty or Netflix? Or Hulu and Amazon video? A good series will ease you through this thing. Also, hot tea with lemon and honey, hot showers or steam to help you cough is up and Vitamin C with Zinc for your immune system. Don't get down on yourself for watching crap, but seriously that stuff can depress you.

I also have 2 new books I could be reading, but I really am pretty down and out and just want to nap and watch tv.

So instead I tuned into that show and had to see how it ended. The past couple days I've been glued to Discovery ID, and I'm ok with that. I just had some tea and took some meds--I have an appt tomorrow with my dr for a med refill anyway, so I'll see what he says about my cold.

I's just one of those I have to ride out, I'm sure, but it sucks.

Thanks for the advice!

I forgot to say I am sorry you are sick . I hope you can get through it quickly, it seems if you don't rest and take care of yourself, it can hang on way too long.

Haha--her Mom tells her how much her life will change when she's going to have the baby in less than a week--then the father lied to her and her parents that he really didn't graduate from his electronic high school and can't enroll in community college just yet.

I really am sick!

We don't have kids we just despise MTV and want one less click of the remote to get past it.

Beavis and Butthead commented that it would be a lot more interesting if they were showing footage of the girl getting pregnant. I think that would be (still illegal) teenie porn.

They totally destroy all the crappy MTV reality shows like 16 & Pregnant, True Life, Teen Mom, Jersey Shore, you name it.

...but now it's become a bit "Jersey Shore-ish".

I think the episodes that cover Caitlynn giving her child up for adoption with her boyfriend show a maturity that few adults I know have.

It's there when I need it. Love me some reruns of Commander In Chief, I does.

Being of generally good health, I seldom need it. Plus, if I'm ill I'd rather not veg out watching TV...unless it's The Sopranos or Entourage.
