3. want to reach the desireless state...

which is, of course, impossible...so long as I want it. In which case I don't want to reach the desireless state, but then I have to want which means I don't or can't have something, in which case since I can't have it, I want to reach the desireless state. Which is, of course, impossible...so long as I want it.

I'm so confused. This is too hard.

9. I had a friend that said something to me long ago that was so strange I had to think about it.

Always strive to achieve perfection knowing you will never achieve it.
It seemed so hopeless and confusing at the time.

A few years later it clicked.

I think the same could be said about a 'desireless state'

4. Want to be debt free.

I'm working on it. I was able to pay down the credit cards significantly this month.

7. Do not want

more stuff. Last week I threw away and gave away 80% of the stuff in my basement. Now I have less stuff, but more room.

8. Want, but ONLY after i make sure of that this happens:

I have what I need.

I can't pick from the options. (LOVE THE POLL!!)

Everything I need I have. I'm content in the regard.

When I go into wanting, I figure out a way to achieve or acquire it (not in a bad way...) . It's nice to want when I have all I need -- 46 years on this planet and I have what I need.

People need different things. People want different things.

I remember a time when I didn't know the difference.

It's not having having what you want,
It's wanting what you've got..

PS: Now I want sushi.
