Yes, the fermentation of sugars has brought much happiness (and other things, lol!) to us!

What made your day so long?

I was the only provider there. My supervising physician is out of town. I got a few walk-ins after four o'clock, after I'd pretty much thought I could see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Oh, and my computer crashed a couple of times, causing delays...

Aw, who cares? Yay! The weekend!

Will says: "Pegeen, lass! Oceans of love! How art my girl, then? Art happy?"

Would you like to get out of those clothes, and into a dry Martini?

Will is shaking his head. He just doesn't understand 20th Century humor.

Fair enough? How many of the jokes that had them rolling in the aisles in the 16th Century translate as well today?

The vernacular has changed so that fairly innocuous lines today hide shockingly lewd meanings. I can rustle some up for you later, if you like...

Will is at the other end of the bar, chatting up a young lady...

"I have seen you at the Globe, have I not?..."

We won't be getting HIM back any time soon...

I like to get unusual songs and ornaments. This year I am seriously considering buying a Day of the Dead Nativity Scene that I saw. It's cool as hell and yet gives me the creeps. Dear old Southern Baptist roots come to call! LOL!

That's pretty unusual. How many people today begin their Christmas prayers with: "God save Good Queen Bess!"

My family usually goes out for Chinese food.

Do you know why administrators of a large non-profit hospital would be critical of the ACA? I assumed more people with insurance would mean more patients and more money since patients that previously had no insurance would now be compensated to the hospital, even if minus their personal deduction. But I have a friend that works for a very large hospital corporation and at one of their meetings the bosses were critical of the ACA and acted like they would rather not have it. A few doctors my friend works with are very happy with the new law because they say they can now treat their patients better. I just don't get why the bean counters at this company have a problem with it.

The only thing I can think of is maybe it's reflexive.

They may be Republicans who are unable to rise above the propaganda. Or they may just be generally distrustful of government.

I'm a Physician Assistant, and I'm tickled to death about the ACA. I can't wait for January 1st!...
