Something about cats and computer keyboards....

What a cutie!! There's nothing like a kitten in the house to warm your heart...

so if Dylan has long-ish fur, be prepared for some serious furballs. A word of advice: don't keep your keyboard anywhere it can be puked on.

We have a wireless keyboard that I put in a drawer every time we leave the house, or go to bed. Closing your laptop is a very smart move.

We have two girls who are part Maine Coon, and they're as big as our 20lb (no fat) male tuxedo... it's so weird because they are two of the three daughters a small tortoiseshell brought to us (we kept the tortie and her three girls - one of whom is small just like her mother, and the other two girls are the enormous part-Maine Coons. Genetics is fascinating.)

Anyway, Dylan looks like a doll. Your pup(s) get along OK with him, and vice versa?

Our other cat is not, which did not surprise us. I don't think she is going to hurt him, she just wants to assert herself as the alpha cat. She was the same way with the other cat we had. I think she is going to be in for a big surprise here in another 3 months.

13. Dylan wants to be in the spot where you've been looking

so that he can get the attention OR he likes the warmth of the keyboard?

If it's the warmth, get an electric throw blanket for him (around $20) to lay beside you, & keep it on the lowest setting.

He's a cutie!

My dog, Gizmo, stands like Rin Tin Tin on my lap with one paw on the keyboard when he wants my attention. And he's persistent.
