2. They've trained me and Laz not to move bowls or plates around.

If it's chicken, cheese or milk, we can expect a paw to the plate or spoon, or nose in the bowl or mug, and we prepare accordingly.

The perils of a small house with no dining room. We don't have a table to sit and eat at, so the front-room couch and associated side tables is usually where we eat. At least we don't leave the TV on when we eat, so it's somewhat similar to the family get-together that dining should be.

3. Fortunately our two kitties aren't interested in people food.

They do join us in the kitchen, however, and sit next to their empty food bowls and send many meaningful looks our way.

4. Love it.

When I eat cereal I just get stared at. I invariably give in and let Cocoa have first crack at the leftover milk. When she's done, the very timid Skittles will make her way to the bowl. Moosie likes it too but spends most of his time outside.
