It's official: I made the switch to Bing as my default

Google has just gone waaay downhill over this last year.

They better get their shit together if they ever want to be my default again.

1. It Is Better

I "roadtested" Bing by giving them the same words/topics I was looking for that I did with the big "G" and they always had places to go that Google did not. I also like their pic of the day!

3. I was interested in Bing but

they make you go through Facebook. I don't like being forced to log on to Facebook in order to do something else. And it seems to be something that is 'trending'.

Initially, I really liked the way Bing looked, so I am disappointed.

5. Really? Didn't notice

I don't have facebook.
I tend to use google still though, but haven't had that problem with Bing.
Then again, I never look at anything "trending".

And yes, I am still blaming FB for the slow down of the internet due to connectivity and the code they propagate throughout the whole WWW.

4. duckduckgo for me

It's a matter of principle. Should it prove sufficiently inferior, I will switch again because I'm not a particularly principled person.
