1. Yeah, I complain about the deer that eat my landscaping
And birdseed. But for thirty five years I watched the ancestors of those deer graze in the field where I built my new house. I completely disrupted their routine by sticking my house in the middle of their daily grazing pattern.
The changes that made created new habitat opportunities for birds and squirrels, but the deer and foxes have had to adapt to less habitat. On the other hand, the location where the old house trailer sat has given all the animals a new location to exploit.
It is a private street with 4 houses. Two homes are empty and up for sale, one is a weekend get away. Three months before we moved out a baby bear was eating bird seed on my porch. I was afraid it would break in for more. I had 4 parrots and a flock of doves inside.
