My Rant About Holiday TV

I know most folks are out caroling and making snowmen and snowboarding...but I want my regular shows on TV goddammit!
TV is miserable this time of year. You know it's bad when you actually find yourself either spending the entire day taking naps or playing Nintendo DS.
I know that Stephen Colbert and the guys on MSNBC and Current need a break sometimes, but shit, man...I can't take much more of the marijuana documentaries and the prison porn. And even when there are basketball and football games on ESPN, it's hard trying to sit through an entire 3+ hour game.

I don't have cable, so all I have is broadcast TV, which makes it worse. Although, I have more PBS than the cable subscribers get. They usually have something on. My solution is to stream from Hulu and other sites that have TV shows and movies I have never seen.

And, no snow activities here. This is the South. We're getting rain, so can't really even go out for a walk.
