I heard that you can buy an indoor antenna to improve radio reception. Anyone know about

that? If so, where could I get one?

(This sounds retro, I know.)

2. I got one from CC Crane

many moons ago and it looks very retro. The one I got is for am reception and it does work fairly well.

They probably have something for fm reception, but I don't have have experience with theirs. I use the old-fashioned "T" antenna for better fm reception indoors.

3. If you don't want to wait for mail order, Radio Shack has a halfway decent selection.

I have had very good luck with the cheap dipole antenna:

My receiver is old and has the screw terminals. I used to live out in the middle of nowhere, where FM reception sucked. I was able to get all of the available stations with the dipole antenna. They are kind of ugly, however, so it's nice if you have a bookcase behind which you can easily hide it. I'm betting you can also find this or other radio antennas at Home Depot or Lowes.

5. Yes it can. It gives your radio a bigger mit if you will.

And my favorite place for that kind of stuff is Radio Shack. But I do believe Best Buy have a few. Selection better at Radio Shack.
