DirecTV cancels Newsmix channel

I am a news junkie. This channel was my favorite because I could see what was going on on 8 different news channels at once and jump from one to the other as needed. Stingy, stupid management has killed this channel. Why? Probably to "save money" but stupid programming moves like this could end up costing them customers.

1. Never Used It, Personally

so I really don't care if it was taken off or not. Sports Mix, on the other hand, comes in quite handy during tournament season. Glad it's not gone. Yet.

2. Man I loved that! My wife hated it though

She would complain until I changed it...

3. That sux! That was a handy feature.

I mostly watch MSNBC, but sometimes they showed Current, too. I used to check it out frequently.

Maybe if we all called and complained?

4. I think the reason that this was removed,

was it made it too obvious that most of the major news channels
not only ran commercials at the same time, they often ran
the SAME commercials at the same time.
