Today my dad would turn 104

Strange to think of that, as I am *only* 50. He was famous as the "Birthday Man of El Dorado" because he remembered everyone's birthdays. He always said he knew the most birthdays on November 23rd (his) and the second most on mine (August 27th). If he hadn't seen you for forty years, he could still remember your birthday. He was born while TR was still in office - imagine that! He saw many societal changes in his lifetime. Like Saint Ronnie (give me a break), he was a Democrat as a young man who switched parties later, but I had hope for him, as he stated once that Reagan wasn't for the little guy. Unfortunately, Dad died in 1983, so I couldn't work on convincing him to vote Democratic in 1984. He loved baseball and people in general, but me in particular, as I was his only child. I love and miss you, Dad! RIP Clarence ("Cap&quot Hagan, November 23, 1908 - July 8, 1983.
