These photos of an elderly woman and her cat are SO moving

I cannot stop looking at them. What a beautiful relationship. I see myself and our Morrissey in this.

2. Bonding Is The Word

Humans are missing out until they can bond with animals where they share space, respect and adoration of the species. We could learn a lot from animals like trust, honesty and not judging others by their looks or their checkbook!

3. These are just simply amazing. I love them. That woman's hands - so strong!

The love between Misa and Fukumaru is so intense.

I'm trying to figure out the bathtub scene with the pumpkins? Why is she soaking with pumpkins?

Thanks for posting these!

5. That looks like oranges (see the other photos) and maybe lemons(?) and grapefruit(?).

.
.
.
For the citrus oils?

7. Oh I completely agree that some of them are oranges.

I'm pretty sure some are pumpkins though... interesting bath additions for sure. I wonder if the Japanese (I'm guessing she's Japanese from the names) believe these have some medicinal qualities.

Lovely photos though.

8. I bet they're just organic and natural sources of "bath oils" and as such...

.
.
.
... may simply be for what bath oils are used for here -- to soften the skin (not
to mention the potential perfuming effect).
.
.
.
Or she just can't afford little rubber duckies to play with.

9. Or they're for her charming cat to knock about while she's relaxing!!

Another kick for a most excellent photo essay if nothing else.

11. Naked breasts or testicles - cats get all OCD on you if you don't distract 'em with something else.

6. A beautiful person with a beautiful cat in a beautiful setting

Hard to go wrong. Good photography tells a story and the story here is heartwarming.
