The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsAnyone here use Twitter?
I joined to follow some of my favorite people, but I rarely participate. I hesitate because I fear I have nothing to say. I don't know why; it hasn't stopped me here. Originally I just wanted to see what it was all about. I have actually gotten a reply from Rosanne Cash, so that was something. I was ridiculously happy about that.
But now I find I am greatly entertained by it generally, especially during the debates. It was more fun than watching them, that's for sure. I used it for storm updates the other day and I find a lot of things to read, much more easily than with Google Reader, which I am always days behind on.
I'm still learning to use and I am absurdly tickled when somebody follows me.

(10,070 posts)Hi,
I have been using it for quite awhile. I rarely post, but do find it fun to see some "inside" views of some famous people. Also like you, I find it great for breaking stories and live events. It all comes down to who you follow of course.
Peace

(7,774 posts)everyone has one- Some of the stuff on there is absolute shit especially if you follow football but there are some good things about it. I am following @MasonsMagic (Mason Fountain) incredible little kid with a brain tumour trying to raise awareness of children with brain cancer. Inspirational little man! Fire in!
