(20,582 posts)I really need an answer to this. See ...... I've got this mouse. I call him "fuck OFF!!!!". My cat, Hobo, who I thought was the best hunting cat ever has caught him for me - twice now. I was so happy! and told him "OMG ... ok Hobo, let me get the door open" as I ran, with pounding heart, and full of relief! to open if for him, fully expecting him to take him outside. The problem is, Hobo always has had to have the last word, it doesn't matter what you say to him. He 'meoooowed' in a muffled kind of way, then louder to make sure I heard .... and the mouse got away.
I saw him tonight, peeking at me from behind my stove. I've had to haul it out and scrub, and clean every cupboard in my kitchen at least half a dozen times already. This mouse is wearing me out! I hated to do this, but decided to try to trap him. He licked the peanut butter off clean, twice. I imagine he wears this at night:
