1. well, beer is gone, stromboli gone, but DU and baseball -

all good here! my daughter (who cooked dinner - wife is on a quilt retreat for the week) and I had a mini-brown ale tasting. four different ones - all good - favorite was Smuttynose Brown Dog. good stuff. Also a good one from Anchor, Lost Coast, and Sam Smith.

3. I favor stouts and porters but my daughter is more browns and ambers.

Got some good heavy duty ones ready for when my wife returns! Most unusual is a Mole Stout....quite unique, shows chilis, chocolate and other spices among the stout flavors.

13. Have you ever tried Irish Death?

It's a stout, similar to Guinness, but a little sweeter.

The only sad part is that I am a KC Chiefs fan and my husband is a Raiders fan.

31. During football season...

we do a lot of tounge biting around each other. And if he wants to go watch his boys at the bar with the boys I am more that happy with it! That means I can watch my boys without having to look over at him wearing that shirt! He loves his Raiders gear.

36. Makes me sad I never had any athletic talent.

All of my sports coaches said the same thing to my dad when he would come to practices to check up on me.

"Well, he tries hard..."
