I remember Halloween as being the best night of the year, running from house to house getting candy

A few of the neighbor ladies made big popcorn balls.

I always went there first.

One neighbor would have full size candy bars to give out.

We would have a large grocery bag half full of candy after a few hours.

We were always in a large group, safe.

That was fun.
