1. I liked the show but never got to watch during the school except for holidays.
|
The show started at 3 when we were just getting out of school.
The show was fun to watch, so many mistakes were made. It was fun. |

8. Lagniappe, old New Orleans slang for "a little something extra". Lan-yap.
|
And yes, the old shows rock. Love the music and the atmosphere and the eternal screw-ups. Just wonderful. I halfway think Julia is why I'm a shrink today. LOL!

7. I was totally in love with him.
|
I probably should not admit to having spent many sleepless nights not long ago watching all the episodes that are available on Netflix streaming.
My work performance was a train wreck. |

9. When I think of tv and movie vampires, Barnabas Collins is what comes to mind.
|
IMO, Barnabas, as played by Jonathan Frid, is the vampire all others are measured up against.

11. Is it just me...
|
or dose Barnabas look a lot like that guy in the painting? Obviously, it's not him, since the painting is over 200 years old, but the resemblance is uncanny!

13. Dr. Strange is awesome!
|
As is Barnabas. Frid of course IS Barnabas, but I also like Ben Cross' version in the 90s. Haven't seen the Depp version yet, but I should be checking it out soon.

14. I've got old Dr. Strange comic books..
|
..from the 1970s. that's the only version of Dr. Strange I'm familiar with. Didn't read them back then (in the 70s) but discovered him when I was collecting other Silver Age comic books...

Last edited Fri Oct 26, 2012, 04:52 PM USA/ET - Edit history (1) The Dr. had a serious thing for him.
I think she tried to cure him at one point. What lost me was all the jumps in time that happened. I don't know if I would live in a house that weird. I felt sorry for little David, he would have grown up strange. He should have been sent to a boarding school. I did watch all the shows years later, it was fun to watch. All the mistakes that were made, actors forgetting their lines. For those of us who watched the show as kids, it is to funny to watch now. |
