Sooo... autumn-y. I moved out some furniture today to gain breathing space in my little room. I raked leaves. It rained. I sent out a resume. I spent an hour staring out the window. I walked the dog and ran across a huge floundering fish in the creek. Now I'm beer buzzed and listening to Vince Guaraldi again.
No complaints.

(23,998 posts)1. That piece is definitely on the short list of my all-time favorites.
I especially love the George Winston version, maybe because of the memories associated with it.

I love it just for the way it is. But then again I always thought Guaradli never got the recognition he deserved as a pianist and arranger, but was always remembered as the guy who wrote 'Linus and Lucy' And to be honest... being a little kid in the early 70's with all the charlie brown specials.... that was a pleasant memory!
