Posting from ER. Please send some Lounge vibes to my son.

It's not life threatening but it is miserable. I've told folks before that he's got what some call abdominal migraine syndrome. Basically he starts throwing up and can't stop, as in it's uninterrupted until we figure out how to make it stop. He's been going since 7 am, about 11 hours now, with only about an hours break while the Atavan was working. Its a lifelong thing, and we hoped he had it licked since its been a long time, but I guess not. He's 25 but, you know, still my boy, and seeing him suffer is terrible.

Sorry for the graphic verbiage (not to you; I know you've seen just about everything). But he's asleep and maybe we've dodged hospitalization this time. We'll know in a couple of hours.

Seeing your child suffer is the worst thing imaginable. I wish I could make it better but at least I can offer my prayers and best wishes for healing. I have a 25 year old son too. In January he will no longer be on our insurance and I am freaking out about that.

I googled it and found it can both help and cause CVS.

This ER doctor has some interesting things to say about how he treats CVS-

Mine's directly related to my sinuses. Mucus with nothing to back it up - dry heaves all day. I can empathize with him in a MAJOR way. Just give him hugs for me. And yes, he'll never stop being your boy.
