Monster Mash: Godzilla meets King Kong; vote now for all-time favorite monster

Now in the center ring! It's the mother of all smackdowns: King Kong vs Godzilla.

The giant gorilla goes head to head with the king of the lizards in the last round of our Monster Mash.

These two fierce competitors are the only ones to emerge unscathed from several rounds of carnage. In the semifinals, Godzilla easily trounced Jaws, and King Kong pummeled the Alien.

Earlier in the mash, such formidable foes as Dracula, Frankenstein, Freddy and Jason all bit the dust. Don't even get me started about the pitiful fate of such venerable villains as Nosferatu, the Borg and the Daleks. Not even the zombies were relentless enough to make it in the end. Sigh.
