6. I have a record player that records to a USB port.

I record the record on to a memory stick, transfer the "raw music" to my hard drive, split up th "raw music" into seperate tracks in "Audacity," then burn the finished tracks onto a CD.

I paid $80 for the record player at Shopko.

It looks like an old radio.

7. I've seen those advertised. My Technics is a high-end table, so I'll probably use the headphone....

 

... jack on the amplifier and pipe it into the mic port of my laptop. It's not a high priority and the albums I REALLY want to do that with are in a box in the basement (and have been for 12 years). They'll be fine when I pull them out, but other things come first.
