The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsHelp in classifying some DVDs my wife and I own.
My wife and I don't go on vacations. Our main entertainment is well sports and TV and reading. Right now we have a massive collection of movies & TV shows/miniseries etc.
Anyways my wife and I are rearrangeing the shelves and trying to get better order in the house. We have all the movies in a seperate section and well we are just alphabetizing them.
Now with the TV shows. We are classiying/grouping them in three catagories.
Sci-fi/Fantasy- has my Star Trek show, Doctor Who,babylon 5, Charmed, Wonder Woman (Wife grew up watching Linda Carter I think it is cheesy but I have to admit love the season one costume. Xena and Hercules
Cop shows like Law and Order, CSI and Cracker
Sitcoms and Dramas like Family guy (my wife's favorite) Mad Men, West Wing Arrested Development etc
But we are having trouble classifying some shows.
My wife has two shows-- Brisco County JR. which is not just a western it is a little on the sci-fi side and well comedy she also has a show Zorro-- the Duncan Reghnr (I know I screwed up the name) I got some seasons of 24 before it got pro torture Macgyver and Moonlighting.
Any suggestions?

(47,675 posts)The only reason I watched Wonder Woman was for Linda Carter in that outfit - then again, I was a teenage boy.

(29,414 posts)That way, you can put all the Evil Dead and other shows/movies of his where he was the star, all together in one spot for easy access. I mean, who (or what) else do you think of in anything where he's the main character?
