I have enjoyed the Daniel Craig movies more than any of the other Bond movies.

after Sean, then Roger. Never could get into Pierce as Bond, too good-looking for that role, IMHO, not that he isn't a good actor.

He seemed the closest to Fleming's Bond in the books: tough, somewhat conflicted but calm when the chips were down. Good-looking but not a pretty-boy. I feel much the same way about Daniel Craig as Bond.

Connery was the classic, but Moore was just not James Bond. Brosnan was fine, though not exceptional. Would have liked to have seen more of Lazenby.

The series had already been set on a course of comic-book stupidity with You Only Live Twice and Diamonds Are Forever, and the impish Moore proved a far better sport than the bored Sean Connery. He's the Adam West of of the James Bond franchise, keeping the it afloat until the showrunners were smart enough to change the tone with Dalton and Craig.

My ranking:

Early Connery

Craig

Dalton (Very Fleming-esque; brooding and romantic)

Lazenby (Underrated; his inexperience adds a wonderful vulnerability)

Brosnan (Never got a decent script; watch The Matador and The Tailor of Panama for his potential)

Moore

This looks great...love Craig as Bond but my favorite was Dalton...right out of the pages of the books.

Adore Roger Moore and loved his Bonds but they were charicaures...Sean grew on me...
