I've told this story here before. When our band split up, the drummer for my rhythm guitarist's NEXT band
was a young strikingly handsome hunk who played barefoot dressed in nothing but a pair of short cutoffs.
When I showed up at their gigs, I'd get up and sing a coupla songs with them and announce to the crowd
that I was proud to be singing with a band that had the only naked drummer in the tri-state area (New
Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware).
.
We'd ALL get a kick during the next song watching women (and a few men) oh-so nonchalantly easing
their way alongside the stage so they could get a better look behind that damned drumkit.
