oh look its a...what was the question?

Of course I'm easily distracted, its a defense mechanism from preventing the loss of what sanity I have/had/might have. Allows the mind to do something besides face realities. On my tombstone it will read: "It sounded like a good idea at the time".

Likely IF I hadn't been so distracted there are a great number of fool things I'ld never have done, okay an example is fair: a male-escort chased me for a year, he was a friend of a friend. WHO in their right mind would marry a male escort- on Valentine's Day no less...you're right, it wasn't eight weeks before he just had to go back to what was familiar. That little incident caused the IRS to tell me they were considering getting a RolDex for me.
To my friends- at the time, everyone of them told me "Why didn't you just pimp him out?" I am also pretty convinced the God in Heaven I believe in just rolled His eyes and said "Can you believe what she did this time?" BUT...it sounded like a good idea at the time.

I obsess about things, so they never leave my brain...ever. I make lists, and then have to edit them for clarity and order. I never do things on the 'spur of the moment'. I plan every detail of my day. I know within seconds of walking into a room if something has been changed and it will drive me batty until it is fixed. My husband has started calling me Sheldon, but only because it makes it more entertaining to live with me if he can compare me to a character on a sitcom. Otherwise, he'd never leave the garage.

My son is ADD. I was a nervous wreck for 18 years. Then I moved to Arizona. Now, I'm just pissed off.

You easily distracted people are put on this earth just to torture people like me.

My son told me that the TV character "Monk" reminds him of me.

For Christmas a few years ago he gave me some OCD (joke) hand sanitizer.

Sometimes I can get so focused on something that I completely block out everything around me.
