Cause when you hear"
Here I come to save the day
You know that Mighty Mouse is on the way
On the sea or in the land...he has the situation well in hand.

And what's not to like about a tiny friend that you can carry around in your pocket to kick ass for you...

Who wouldn't want to hang out with an alcoholic, music lovin', talking dog that also happens to be a Democrat?

I think that describes most blues bands. The husband had rehearsal in the garage last nite. A bunch of late 40s to early 50s "kids". I don't know how many times I had to tell them to turn it down.

I'll take him. He had a bag of tricks, after all!

(Full disclosure: I threw him over for Bugs a year later. We always go for the bad boys!)

Alvin the Chipmunk.
At 5, I would have said Astroboy or King Leonardo.
At 6, I would have said Milton the Monster or Linus the Lionhearted.
At 7, I would have said the Pink Panther or Bullwinkle
At 8, I would have said George of the Jungle or Super Chicken
At 9, I would have said Bugs Bunny
At 10, I would have said Snoopy

At many years beyond childhood, I'll say Femlin

When I was a kid, he was my imaginary friend.

My parents got really annoyed when they had to stop the car so he could go to the bathroom.

Growing up in the New York tenements I always envied the mid- West suburban world of Archie and his cool girlfriends Betty and Veronica. I wanted to be one of his buddies like Jughead and hang out in the Choklit Shoppe.

I can relate to her more than any other character.

Also, Racer X from "Speed Racer". Not that I can relate to him or anything. I just think he could be fun to hang with.
