7. Seger's good. Springsteen's Springsteen.
|
Springsteen = The Beatles. Seger = Dave Clark Five.

8. Good analogy.
|
Seger wrote one great song - Against the Wind. Its poetic and iconic.
Springsteen wrote at least 30 of them. |

11. My sister's former boss used to live a couple of blocks from Bob Seger.
|
Said he was a super nice guy.
Too bad he can't sing. Hate his music -- turn the dial every time they play a Bob Seger song, to me, his voice is like nails on a chalkboard. Bruce Springsteen is ok, but the man mumbles everything now that he's older. |

16. See, posts 3&4 and 14&15 at odds, why I'm confused. But my heresy/ignorance
|
will boggle all the minds here. The reason this question presented itself to me was that last week a dude put on a series of great songs on the jukebox that I thought were SPRINGSTEEN. Another day he arrived and just sat down. As a tribute, I went to the jukebox and couldn't find SPRINGSTEEN. The songs were SEGER.
Yeah yeah, I know how ignorant I am. Thanks in advance for pointing it out. But at least give me credit for coming up with a question that has a reasonable conflict to it, as Post #6 shows. |
