6. I do too but sometimes I feel bad we're laughing at their language...

but then again our translations of English to their language is just as bad. I hope there is a cool group of progresives making fun of us too!

19. Don't feel bad.

My DIL posts these to her FB page. She's Okinawan and her English is pretty damned close to this. Her friends back in Japan think they're hilarious.

3. Holy smokes!

I'll stay out of the lane. I don't want to get hit with flying sushi or fish arriving by weather.

5. When we went tot he Inauguration we ate at one every day

First day the 4 of us ended up with a $150 bill. Mind you I think there was at least one bottle of wine in the mix but that thing was so addictive. You keep grabbing plates thinking 'Oh this is only $5' not knowing just how all those plates add up.

But nice thing about tipping well - after the inauguration, every restaurant within 10 blocks of the event was overloaded with customers. This place, Wasabi, was right in the thick of things. When the hostess saw us she snuck us in because she knew we took good care of them.

7. That's cool.

Isn't it great when you're enough of a regular to get treated well?

Loved sitting across from the kids from somewhere who'd never had sushi but were starving & thus willing to learn

9. It rubs the lotion on its skin.

First android prostitutes, now sushi-bots.

11. My dear LynneSin!

I just LOVE these! I always get a chuckle out of the often very mangled English...

And then trying to figure out just what they mean? Fucking priceless!

Thank you!

17. Kinda scary. Now I'm wondering just what the hell sushi would want to eat.

Guess what's good for the fish is good for the fisherman?

20. "flow on the lane?"

- No thank you. Flowing sushi sounds like the equivalent of pink slime.
