In the 2012 election, not only were members of Congress who proudly wear the Tea Party banner voted out, but the ideas and hard-right views of the Tea Party were rejected across the country. The Tea Party has clearly lost its strangle-hold on the Republican Party, but have they finally been pushed into extinction?
