4. I know a lot of this is politicking

His intended message is, "I'm fighting for you, the real Americans, and they want to get rid of me so you have no one in Washington who's got your back," but his, "I welcome these guys," notwithstanding, people like Mitch are really saying, "How dare they try to take MY seat in congress!"

5. For once...

...McConnell is right about something! You're damn right Democrats want to take him out. The only time he mentions the state that he represents in the Senate is when he's running for office. The only time, I tell you. Fuck you, McConnell!

7. Well, of course we do.

Isn't that the role of voters? To get their guy into office and get rid of the guy they don't like? Don't Democrats vote mostly for the Democrat candidate and Republicans vote for the Republican candidate? What's the big deal? And old Mitch is an embarrassment to the great state of Kentucky (which is not nearly as red-necked as many people think it is).

8. Our PRIMARY GOAL

(beyond giving you a "primary") is to tie up your tenure in the Senate! Nothing else matters but sending your obstructionist ass back to the hills of ol' Kentuck!

Edit to add: We non-gun-totin' sorts don't wanna "Take you out", Mitch. That's codespeak for 2nd amendmentals. We just wanna end your time impeding the people's work in DC!

12. Mitch, what goes around comes around.

According to you, your party's primary job was to make President Obama a one- term president.
You blew that.

Now our job is to make sure you don't return to office.
Yes, we want to take you out.
And not to the prom.
