There are many things in this one that are better than the old one (the character of the young girl comes to mind) but Ian Richardson was so gleefully evil as Francis that you really should see it. Spacey is great, but he's playing it very differently, and I think I liked Richardson's take better.

...and Ian Richardson was superlative as Francis Urquhart. But I'm loving what I see so far... great idea to go with the basic premise, but not try to replicate Richardson's performance. Spacey creates a fantastic, American character and goes with it on its own terms. Addicted!
