gave some depth to his rant, standing up for yourself makes you great, standing up for your country and saying "This is not right" makes you great. Ted is not great, but somehow he gets away with stuff that should make people who listen to him furious.

I remember an episode of Anthony Bordains travel series where he visited ted's place and shot some guns, he had that look of "Smile and nod and maybe this crazy guy won't kill me and desecrate my corpse" the entire time.

Is the crime rate lower in places with higher gun concentration than in places with lower?

Even at his on as a washed up rock star he has no credibility.He denied that his one big hit that made his name "Journey to the Center Of The Mind" was about an acid trip when he changed his politics and it became inconvenient. He always seemed to show up low budget rock fests in the 70's and his music sucked even back then... all he was was loud ...and that seems to be all he's got now. Ted promised that if Obama was re-elected he would be dead or in jail and has yet to make good on either count.

If so--and I highly doubt it--that still leaves anywhere from 730 to 1825 people a year are killed by these non-offenders.

So, Ted's okay with those figures, I guess.

But beyond that--what does it matter who pulls the trigger? If they had less access to weapons or it would be at least harder for them to get them through closing gun show loopholes, we'd save even more lives.

But the truth is that he cares about one life: his own.

He's a scared little man and he needs his guns like a child needs a teddy bear.

That's why he's so passionate.

It's fear.
