1. Holy cow, both sounded down right progressive!

But Bush sounded like he felt passionate about the issue. What the hell happened to the Republican party?

2. Both wanted to solve the problem. But you gotta love Reagan's "grasp" of the facts.

Mexico had severe problems in 1980. But the unemployment rate was at 20%, not the revolution-inducing 40-50% that Bonzo just pulled out of his pompadour.

Of course they were running for the nomination of a party that was about evenly split on the question of whether a woman has control over her own body.
