spouting that rw narrative! They don't seem to understand that the Budget Control Act set spending levels ... just like that document with BUDGET (without the "Control Act&quot typed across the top.

When I hear that nonsense, I ask:

What is the proper name for the budget?

(Generally, I don't get an answer)

Then I ask:

What was the Budget Control Act?

(Generally, don't get an answer)

Followed by:

How was it developed?

(Generally, don't get an answer)

Followed by:

How was it adopted?

(Generally, don't get an answer)

And finally,

What is the difference between the two documents?

(Never get an answer)
