Close Guantanamo Protest Rally, 11th Anniversary
The 1st year we had a rally and protest many years ago, there were over 200 people and 74 worn orange jumpsuits and blackhoods and we walked through downtown wearing placards that gave the name, age, and town of detainee or maybe what happened to them.
As there years have gone on the numbers as gone down but didn't stop. We don't forget.
The group walks to the Law School of ST Thomas University where Robert Delaunty teaches. He was one of Bush's legal counsel that ok'd the torture memos.
Many of those men protesting are Veterans, and ret FBI agent Coleen Rowley is also speaking
