I believe it was last year when Williams was in the U.K. and totally freaked-out to their media about how Obama was a socialist, blah, blah, blah. Unlike say, oh I don't know, THE DIXIE CHICKS, who said something much more mild than his BS who as we all know was pilloried and pretty much had their career stalled for years as a result.

But in the spirit of the season, I'll refrain from saying anything bad about him personally. Although he did give us The Osmonds for which he will ever be forgiven in this rock n roller's book!

He reMinds me of what our world was like before cell phones, cable tv,the Internet and video games. Back to the days of entertaining ourselves with card games ,board games and playing outside.Who would not desire to revisit some of the better things about that era a half century ago?

Hi tech was Hula Hoops. I'm so glad to have grown up as a Boomer, the very best time ever, so long as you didn't go to Vietnam.

I can remember feelin' like the luckiest kid in the neighborhood after my uncle gave me a wood-cased portable radio. I could barely afford the two big batteries it required, but it still was way cool. And I could listen to Andy and many other artists of the day.
