Related: About this forumThom Hartmann: Mitt's tax returns...you can run, but you can't hide
Amanda Beadle, Think Progress joins Thom Hartmann. Mitt Romney released his tax returns - but don't think this makes him more relatable to the average Joe. What do his returns really tell us about his wealth?

(13,704 posts)1. Romney is proud of the fact that he can get away without paying a fair share of taxes?
That he hires a tax preparer that can ferret out all the tax loopholes introduced by right wing politicians? Now that really proves that Romney is a patriotic money grubbing American who worships the Buck and nothing else. Now that is something to be proud about. Just what has he done for this country? That is what I'd like to know.

He chose to only release the 2 most recent years. As bad as they are for him one has to assume that the tax returns he's hiding are far worse.
