(5,668 posts)some of their wannabee's keep missing the right target. Tried to take out an adult forum I know the other day. week. ahem. just because he was conned into thinking the owner dealt in child porn. Well someone finally convinced him otherwise. go to twitteer and look up curahack. and guy fawks is there of course. Sure like any geek his rig is amazing. Wrong target but I can't go after him because someone fed him a line of BS. He was more or less someone taken in with news similar to Faux Nuts.
Hence why I kept calling him Kahn (star trek.. not the army) Kirk your still alive my old friend. old friend. hey you've killed just about everyone else down here but like a poor marksman you keep missing the target.. do'h...
ahem no I wouldn't go after him. In fact I wouldn't go after AK if I knew how much my balls meant to me... X_X

(10,597 posts)...so mysterious. But what he is asking, heck we do that everyday, don't we? Leaks? Ha! (as Tweety says it.) You can't tell us nothing that we don't already know or that would surprise us.
"We are DU.
We are legion.
We are united as one,
Divided by zero.
We don't forgive,
And we will never forget.
Expect us."

(10,597 posts)...as of today. Leak Day is Friday, Dec 21, 2012, 12AM. So, get all of your gift shopping done and groceries stocked up (don't forget extra bottled H2O & batteries), gasoline for the generator (so you can jump on the internets, more wood for the fireplace, plastic sheeting & duct tape, and don't forget the sedatives to keep you calm, cool and collected, peaceful-like.

(7,473 posts)I am so depressed about the state of things, I suppose any action will be for the better.
Sometimes I think I'm too old for this turmoil. My poor children and grandchildren will pay for our folly. That is not the legacy I want to leave.
I hope whatever happens will be for the better for all of us, no matter what our age.

(406 posts)This name could have come from the movie, "Fight Club" good movie, but remember the scene, " His name was Bob", and it didn't end well for him. Peaceful, OK, if that's possible but what if it's not? OWS has shown what happens to the peaceful dissent.

(10,597 posts)....if somebody comes up and punches me, I'm going to punch back. I love peace. But I guess I'm not a good "Christian" like my Mamma was (and she was a Saint), because I can't handle that "turn the other cheek" business. I'm pretty much a paltroon though, and don't pick fights and definitely don't like wars.

(14,168 posts)As much as I love what Anonymous are doing, even if its only to scare the bejesus out of Rove and company, they are overestimating the apathy in America, and also the power of the MSM to gloss over or downright ignore any anti-corporate story.
Prescott Bush was a Nazi sympathizer who dealt with Hitler illegally and then attempted a fascist overthrow of the US government. His family name should have been stained forever, but miraculously not only did his son get to head the CIA and become President but his facist loving grandson "decided" things for another 8 years. A lot of it thanks to the whitewashing of the Bush family past by the MSM
Then there's the false flag operations. Bay of Tonkin off of Vietnam, the fake infirmary deaths in Kuwait. And in spite of many unanswered questions about 9/11, no serious MSM journalistic effort gone into that.
And what about the Wikileaks revelations of war crimes in Iraq? Not one of those responsible for a videotaped massacre of media personnel and other innocents seemingly just for target practice, has been prosecuted. Instead the whistleblower is incarcerated and ignored for the most part by the MSM. It seems only the crimes that are sanctioned to be uncovered and discussed on air are allowed.
We already know that the big financial institutions and Wall Street have been running a casino with other peoples money and lost big time. We rewarded them with a bailout. Not one CEO went to jail. No real investigative effort. There was the Occupy movement but it was up to the MSM to cover their issues, instead, when the movement got even too big for them to ignore, we got a constant "They don't really know what they want!".
I think the population is made up of apolitical apathetics, corporate bagger zombies, and some SOME intelligent curious people. But even they have reached a point of saturation. Its evolved into a kind of a resignation:
Everybody knows that the dice are loaded
Everybody rolls with their fingers crossed
Everybody knows that the war is over
Everybody knows the good guys lost
Everybody knows the fight was fixed
The poor stay poor, the rich get rich
That's how it goes
Everybody knows
Leonard Cohen
Sorry to be such a downer.
I'd be very surprised if ANYTHING got U.S. or Canadian citizens off of their couches and into the streets.
