2. As if high sodium, high fructose corn syrup and cancer causing preservatives isn't enough,

they genetically modify our food to have insecticides and herbicides in it also. How is this healthy food?

4. Perhaps we should stop calling it food

until we know that it really is food.

food/fo͞od/
Noun:
Any nutritious substance that people or animals eat or drink, or that plants absorb, in order to maintain life and growth

otherwise, it's just stuff we devour without regard to nutrition values... entertainment maybe?

5. Interesting thing - Hubby had to buy the 'supersized' bottle of ketchup the other day

because it was the only one that didn't have high fructose corn syrup in it. It was actually labeled "contains no high-fructose corn syrup". He said he was looking all over for a smaller bottle (because it would fit better in our fridge), but that all the regular sized bottles contained high-fructose corn syrup - even if he went with a smaller bottle of the same brand he purchased.

8. I always look at the label of the foods I buy

If it has "High Fructose Corn syrup" in it, It goes back in the shelf. I'll go without first. Stuff that you'd think shouldn't need any kind of sweetener, has it.

I need to look at the salt content anyway. Another WTF.
