Milky Way: Infuriated Farmers Spray Milk On Riot Police In Brussels
Published on Nov 26, 2012 by RussiaToday
Thousands of dairy farmers on Monday protested low prices for their product, choking traffic in the Belgian capital with their tractors and spraying European Union headquarters and police with milk.
One group started a fire in the street, but despite some pushing and shoving with police, there was no major violence.
Farmers from several EU nations are demanding higher prices for milk, which currently is often being sold at below production costs, threatening the survival of their farms.

6. You gotta' love those Frenchmen. They know how to protest.
Do you all remember a few years ago when there was a strike going on in France, I think country-wide, and a bunch of farmers brought there tankers of milk and rallied in a field... They took hoses like the ones shown here and spilled all the milk out on the ground? It may have been about the prises then too... can't remember. They can throw a mean general strike in France too. All commerce stops in its track.....a real cog in the wheel. Thanks for sharing your find on RT...
