1. I watched this because it was produced by Al Jazeera.

I get most of my serious news from international sources. Al Jazeera is one of them, as is the UK Guardian. I get far more real information from international news sources than I would from any in the U.S. - including MSNBC (although they're not as egregious as some.)

It was interesting who they chose to talk to. I like that they had both Ralph Nader and Grover Norquist coming from opposite positions. Overall, it seemed a dismal view of the U.S., but perhaps not an inaccurate one. I really enjoyed watching it.

Thank you for posting.

3. Not inaccurate, but very superficial... But then again, so is our

political elections system -- very superficial.

4. Nader called the USA a "bloated military government"

I'm surprised that's not on the cutting room floor

5. This race was never a close race.

Obama always had the lead and the media pretended otherwise.

This video lost me when it said it was a close race. Did they look at the polling numbers? Did they look at the final number of electoral votes (which gives southerners an advantage)?

And it buys into a false equivalency. They claim that saying Mitt was rich and out of touch (which is based on facts) somehow equates to saying Obama was a Socialist, Muslim Christian from Kenya.

They need to do some real analysis.

6. I Love Al Jazeera and The Young Turks

I love Al Jazeera for for covering news that gets swept under the rug but the mainstream press here in the States. One of my favorite topics they covered was on the student protests in Chile last year. Aside from AJ, I also love The Young Turks for exposing the corruption in politics and the MSM. Fortunately there's also a documentary about TYT coming out next year but the film maker needs to raise funds to pay for legal fees and post production stuff.

Film maker, Andrew Napier has been following the story of TYT for the past three years and capturing great stories along the way including Cenk's move to MSNBC and Current TV. In order to keep this documentary objective and independent, Andrew needs to raise at least 60k to pay for legal fees and various other things involving the movie. Check out http://www.indiegogo.com/madashell for more information about the TYT documentary and to contribute.

Let's get the word out about this film so we can break through the right wing noise machine!
