7. That was a very sad story about Sita.

Well, I guess she wouldn't be singing the blues if it wasn't sad. But she was treated horribly by the guy she loved. He was so determined not to believe she was "pure" she had to go back to the womb of mother earth to prove her chastity.

Man oh man, religion sure puts way too much emphasis on a woman's chastity and not enough on her choices. All this time she had the power to evoke mother earth and she let that jealous man use and abuse her. Hell he had other wives but she couldn't have other husbands? I'm glad she didn't get on the monkeys back. Make that man fight for her. It was the only nice thing he did for her.
