3. Yeah well he says that now. Wait until 2014 and he will sing a different tune.

Count on it. When Republican, particularly neocons, start agreeing with us watch out.

5. Oh, good, nice,... no,... wait,... isn't Bill Kristol usually wrong?

I think it should be that we could raise their taxes A LOT!

And, it would help the country -- greatly.

14. I think that's why he said that.

He knows that a tax raise is going to have to happen, the political and social pressures require it.

He just wants to get it fixed in to the meager Clinton rate so that they can say "well we raised taxes on the rich and it didn't help that much."

7. They see the writing on the wall and

are hoping for a compromise. It would serve them right if Obama just let the Bush cuts expire and made them pay at the old rates. In fact, we should consider going back to the Eisenhower rates. Assholes ...

15. Ahh, as I just said up thread, that's why he said this!

He's afraid of the possibility, later on down the line (say we win back the House in 2014), of the top tax rates going up severely if something isn't "accomplished" here.

The Clinton rate isn't that high after all.

8. Dear Mr. Kristol

You might try Miralax to help fix that constipated look you always have on your face.
That is all.

Who beleive they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them... (with tax cuts and burdening the rest)

Look for the party to come after him and flog him for saying that.

19. This is the braindead nimwit who told the GOP to pick Palin in 08, still trying

to be able to say "People listen to me!"

This isn't about anything other than Kristol trying to keep himself in the limelight by running for the center
