What we dodged: Ayn Rand's America *whew*
An interview from 1959, with Paul Ryan weighing in.
We came way too close to Ayn Rand's America, instead of FDR's. Be grateful, but be on guard. They don't give up easily. &feature=watch-vrec

1. While I hate Ayn Rand's philosophy, I applaud her honesty in admitting her atheism
|
Maybe she was a big hypocrite for accepting social security at the end of her life but at least she showed consistency in the above interview in denouncing religion and the church because it didn't fit into her worship of the self. All the Fox News people, Paul Ryan, David Assman, John Stossel, Sean Hannity and the rest would never be so honest or consistent, as they need to use religion and religious people for their own cynical ends.
By the way, Ayn Rand bears an uncanny resemblance to 1960s French rock and folk icon Michel Polnareff.

14. I applaud nothing about her - She was a sociopath and a crap writer.
|
Far too much influence on gullible people.
Her atheism . . . was convenient for her. |

Nicotine, coffee, and dexadrine all the time, which made her even more unpleasant.

10. I think the Evangelical churches that went for RMoney should show that clip at their services.

Watch the heads explode. NO WAY to make sense/correlate the mixed messages coming from the right - they are so, so lost, confused...and manipulated!

I read an article about her recently, where the author says that if Objectivism sounds familiar to you it's probably because you know it by another name; it's called adolescence. |

all the world revolves around ME, MYSELF & I! Their minds cannot differentiate between fact and fiction, hence the strong belief in religion and Faux news etc.propaganda (which is also, IMHO an religion or cult). They have no real concept of another person.

15. Ann is wacked, but of course, so is
|
Lyin' Ryan...at least she didn't claim to break the 3 hour marathon...Ole Lyin' Ryan needs be hounded by this and other tapes of his "hero". The voters in his WI district need to think about this "connection" and also think about whom they are dealing with in this fellow sociopath of Ann's. And we really do need to be so thankful that Lyin' ain't a heartbeat away from the Oval Office...holy cow.

16. The Paul Ryans, The Ron/Rand Pauls of this wacky world are simply pathetic.

To think that their beliefs hinge on the beliefs of such a warped woman as Ayn Rand is mind boggling. Most human beings cast aside early childhood selfishness and respond to the innate seed of altruism that continues to flourish with time.
